The firm has been retained by industrial power consumers in the negotiation of their power supply agreements, and has successfully counseled clients regarding all regulatory aspects of the energy industry. The firm also has acted as external advisor to Chile´s National Energy Commission.

Regarding oil and gas, the firm advises on development, operation and maintenance of oil and gas projects or facilities; midstream operations; permitting; LNG and cross border projects. Urrutia & Cía. has actively participated in the development of the main projects for transportation of natural gas developed in Chile.
